Doing the traditional rounds ....

I love getting dressed especially when there is a wedding in the family infact weddingsssss !!
Last week had been very exciting and also kinda hectic for us. We had attended wedding and reception in Delhi , Patiala and Dehradun....

Starting with thr first function thats is my cousin's sagan for which I decided to wear a net saree with corset and matching paticot (under skirt for saree)

I loved this electric blue saree the moment I saw it . I did not wanted to wear it as a regular saree so got a chandari Corset and paticot to coordinate with it. I decide to carry a golden clutch with the saree :)
Here I am wearing traditional kundan and polki jewellery.
Thanks to my mumma who helped in drapping the saree .

Now comes the much awaited wedding .... You will not believe this but I decided my outfit in the 11th hour !!
Again I decided to wear a saree , infact a heavy one ! Luckily both my BFFs were with me and they helped in draping the saree.

Left to right - Anu , me and Shamaila

Ok don't be surprised to see Shamaila in a jacket as she was coming from Pune ... According to her it was cold in Delhi. I decided to team the saree with the multi clutch , gifted by my co-sister :)

Also it was my dad's bday which we celebrated at the wedding venue. I think this was one of dad's best bday as all our relatives were there at the wedding and had a great time :)

Me treating papa with cake :)

Thats me with my hubby .
You know Punjabi weddings are fun and vibrant ....
I decided to wear traditional jewellery with mang tikka :)

For my cousin's reception which took place in Patiala , I decided to wear self designed anarkali suit in multi.
I love adding colors to my outfits , so when I was designing this outfit I wanted it to look very vibrant and festive so tried adding as many colors as possible.
I teamed the outfit with glitter heels and golden potli bag.
Here I am wearing traditional polki jewellery.

Me and my cousin Atul , no no he is not the one who got married ...he recently got engaged & will be getting married next year.
I have loads of cousins and almost all of them are getting married soon , so this gives me another excuse to go for shopping :P
The reason I am posting this image is because I wanted to show you the combination of stripes sequins and paisley in the anarkali suit.

After completing one round of wedding we moved to another wedding which took place in Dehradun.
It was our friends wedding , yes you read right right friends wedding .. coz two of our close friends got married :)

Here I wore self designed grey saree with silver sequins corset.

I teamed the saree with silver clutch and emerald green earrings(not visible in the image)

Thats me with my hubby at friends wedding :)
