Recipe: Carrot Kheer

To keep you immune system stronger one should eat seasonal vegetables and fruits. Winters season is full of variety of vegetables and fruit. Gajar halwa and Kheer is the famous sweet dish during this season. The best thing about these dishes are that even diabetic people can relish them with no guilt.So I am sharing the recipe of my favorite winter sweet dish Carrot Kheer today.

 Serves- 4
Carrots- 2
Milk- Full cream , 1/2 L
Sugar- 4-5 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
Assorted nuts- little bit

Step by step recipe 

Peel and grate the carrots .

In a pan on high flame bring the milk to boil.

Add carrots in the boiled milk and on low flame cook for about 20-25 mins.

Once you are nearly done add cardamom powder and assorted nuts.

And your dish is ready , you can serve hot or cold as you like.
