Wardrobe Essentials For Wedding Season !

When the wedding bells ring, they bring a sense of glee not just for brides but all the “to-be” bridesmaids and the guests too. All wedding are special for girls especially since they want to look their best without compromising on their looks, appearance or dresses. Even if it’s wedding of a distant relative that you’re going to, the dress you’re wearing has to be dandy, it should complement your look, be of the latest fashion and at the same time it must also be comfortable.

In this post I will mention a few pointers for Wedding Season-

1- Footwear- You can pick silver & gold heels , they go with almost all the outfits.Even you can add red & nude footwear . You can choose among high heels , wedges and flats as per your liking :)

2- Clutch- A clutch is very convenient to carry a lipstick(you surely need in to do touchups) and your mobile phone, also potli bags look good these days. You can choose from oversized clutch bags to the regular ones or may be a cute potli bag. Colors suggested- Golden , Silver ,Copper and red as these colors again go with ,of the outfits.Various sub categories are studded, beaded , brocade, silk, leather , suede etc.

3- Blouses-  To add spark to any saree which has a golden or a silver embellishment on it you can team it with golden/silver corset or may be a blouse. I personally like teaming my sarees with corsets and have both silver & golden corset. You may use brocades (but go for small motifs as bigger motifs will make you look bulky), shimmer fabrics, sequins sheets , tissue etc.

4-Outfit- There are a no. of outfits to choose from, some options are net saree with contrast underskirt and blouse, anarkali suits, patiala salwaar , jacket(sharvani style) & chudidaar suits, long kurta with plazzo, lehanga & traditional silk sarees including kanjivaram & banaras silk.Color options- red, fuschia, yellow. purple , orange , coral, beige , green etc. Basically try teaming brighter colors with contrasts.

5- Jewellery- As per me I like to wear traditional jewellery on weddings & modern jewellery on engagements, sagans etc functions. A new trend that has made a come back not just in bride's jewellery is Haath Phool. I find them gorgeous. If you are wearing a heavy ensemble them may just chandelier earrings are enough & if wearing cuff on one hand leave the other bare. Some jewellery suggestions are Kundan, polki ,diamond and gold jewellery.

Hope the article was useful :)
