Confessions Of A Shopaholic

There is no denying to the fact that I am shopaholic , I think by now you all know that !
So why do I shop like there is no tomorrow ? Well there may be no proper clarification as to why I do this but yes I am a impulsive buyer !

Things that I have been doing so far-

1-Nothing makes me feel better than buying new clothes. In my closet you can find more than 2 black trousers.
My explanation: I need black trousers often , I work in Healthcare sector and dress code is formal so I have to have a back up !!
Reality- I am practically not wearing all of them might have just worn that one wide leg trouser just once.
Plan of action - I am not buying more black trousers and will survive with the one I have for atleast 6-8 months.

2- I think I can buy shoes even in my dreams , I totally believe that give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world ! The higher the heel the better I feel.
My explanation : I need all types of shoes for work , party , shopping ...Flats , heels , wedges ..I should have it all ...
Reality- I have close to 75 pairs of shoes , out of which some 15 odd pairs have been never used till date ! I was allotted two closets just for shoes and now that is also over loaded !
Plan of action- I plan to wear all my shoes and have put a shoe ban on myself for next 6 months, I will donate the shoes I am never going to wear. Also will buy less heels and buy more practical footwear.

3-I can never have enough pink & orange lipsticks. My world is orange and nothing suits me better than pink and orange lipsticks !
My explanation : I look better when I smile when I am wearing my favorite pink and orange lipstick , I should have all the shades of these two colors to see which suits me better.
Reality- There are all the possible shades available of pink & orange lipsticks in my vanity , at times I have even got the same shade in a different brand.
Plan of action- Saying no to lipstick shopping for next 3 months at-least !!

4-I am always running late but I have a lot watches , I love colors and I even have a pink watch !
My explanation: Watch is the most stylish fashion accessory , if you have it flaunt it , I have yellow, orange , pink , golden , silver , etc watches. I love matching my watches with outfit, after all you should always wear the best of watches and shoes !
Reality-I have wasted a lot of money on high fashion brands like Ed hardy, Fossil , Esprit etc.
Plan of action- I will stop buying watches and save up enough for luxury brands like Cartier, Omega , Rolex etc.

5- Colors add happiness in life , what's better in this world to add a small dose of color through nail paints.
My explanation: I have been recently addicted to nail art , so I should have all the color nail paints in my collection, and how could I miss the new launches !!
Reality- Just like lipsticks I have same shades in nail paints especially pink & orange.
Plan of action- I have stopped picking up shades I already have and plan to finish the ones I already have !!

Winter trends

So Winters are here , what trends to follow this season ? Hhhhmm let me help you:)

1- Scarfs-Scarf is an essential accessory for winters. It is warm , comfortable ,stylish and beautiful.It can compliment your look or fully transform it.

2- Hats- Hats have made a huge comeback this season.They are trendy and fun !

3-Belts- Watch for the big screaming trend... belts , belts and more belts.You can team your outfit with a simple black/tan belt. If we want to stand out then try out vibrant colors like orange , red , hot pink etc....
Wearing belts for now is not just a necessity but also enable you to create a fashion statement. That explain why belts are now part of the accessories a woman must have. By simply adding a stylish belt to your daily outfit, it can spice up and looks great. At the same time, having a belt paired with your outfit can add more chic pop and text that can boast your feminine figures.

 

4- Winter White- Winter white is the new plum and here to stay. Add a touch of white to all black look to make it pop out or may be add white to a neutral tone look to make a statement.

5- Sequins wardrobe- The sequins in your wardrobe is must to be tossed ! If you like sparking looks then yes this is the time to flaunt it. A few embellishments here and there are always acceptable, try to stick to more subdued looks , colors and fabrics with just a bit of sparkle.A wonderful cardigan set with some small pearls, or fabric with a bit of sparkle added can whisper your look.

 6- Boots- To build a winter wardrobe that follows the current winter fashion trends you will want to start with your footwear. While you may not think that winter boots offer much flexibility when it comes to fashion choices there really are a lot of great options to choose from. However, if you want a boot that will remain in style through several seasons then you can’t go wrong with a black winter boots. Then if you winter budget can stand it, buy a second and/or third pair of boots in this season’s colors and styles.

7- Boyfriend Blazar-I think eveyone knows about it and it is everywhere.
There are so many color options available from sober black to vibrant yellow.

 

8- Tweed Jackets -Because that tweeds are made up of varying shades involving woven yarn, you'll have several different options when related your pants on your jacket. By pulling from several of the minor colors into your tweed, you may make several looks. Corduroy pants in the complimentary color are ideal for cooler weather, while chinos provides the ideal spring and coil outfit. 

Since tweed jackets do have the rugged, outdoorsy appearance, you can pick out a shoe to reflect this spirit. A leather and / or suede boot is an excellent choice, or it is possible to play it safe together with favorite leather loafers. 

Semi Casual Business - Its not all business meeting will involve a suit. To be able to look your best down night out using your business associates, your jacket certainly is the ideal selection. 

9- Leggings- Leggings are fun to wear and very comfortable. Available in solid colors , prints etc, can be teamed with long shirts , long enough to cover the potential area problems, dresses , tunics with cardigans and skirts.

10- Wide Leg pants-There are few blessed woman who can pull this trned off with successes. The rest of us tend to looks shorter , heavier , and shapeless !

But there is a way that we can all flaunt them :P Try a better fitting pair of pants that has a boot cut , boot cut and wider at the bottom and tend to give a slimmer looks to most figures !
