Recent Makeup Haul

November has been a good month for me , series of events happen in this month including my parents birthdays and our anniversary. We celebrated our 4th anniversary last week and realized we have come a long way together....I still recall the days when I met hubz at Japanese class .....Now don't ask me about my Japanese language skills , I have totally forgotten everything.

Just when I felt that I want to do some makeup shopping Myntra.com gave me a voucher to shop from  their beauty section. God I should have asked for something more. Hope I am not sounding greedy.

Lately I have started liking fall colors and wanted to get a makeup dose of it , also wanted to try Biotique cosmetics line so ended up picking a oxblood lipstick and nailpaint.

February Haul !

I am a shopaholic and go crazy shopping during sale period, during this month I indulged into a lot of accessories shopping.... ok makeup too :P
So without doing much of talking I will share the pix of what I got....

Lets start with the party bags ..

 The moment I saw this bag online , I skipped a beat.. It was love at first sight .
Its a Vakaro hand- painted bag. I think I am going to use the bag a lot..It will go well with western/Indian attire.

My Pinkieee bag.. this bag got my attention when I was passing by a store , its has a nice pink crystal flag and the right amount of pink. I plan to team it up with a contrast outfit to make it pop out!


I was desperately looking for a routine wear bag then I found this....

Ok another pink accessory , this time a pink clip , I love the mix of pearls in it , so cute :)

I am loving golden these days and was looking for golden cuffs that's when I found these , the plain gold one is my current favorite . I am wearing it every now and then.

`I am a earrings person , so tried to get a mix of all colors :)

Hot pink and coral are my current favorite for lipsticks.. Got Faces hot pink lippy and Colorbar lippy Citrine (It looks red in the pic though)
Colorbar i glide pencil in Glowing Sapphire and Mac paint paint in Morning Frost.

Nehru Place Visit

Me and and my BFF Anu visited Nehru Place last weekend. Nehru Place is a my favorite place in Delhi to get latest and trendy fabrics.

Anu wanted to get a blazer as per her taste , I suggested Nehru Place as this is the perfect place to get all fabrics one could think of , also they offer a huge variety. From cotton to tweeds you can find everything here.

Tessuti is a new store that has opened there and they have a lot of new fabrics to offer. Anu was running short of time so we headed to this store.

 Thats Anu looking at some tweed options....It was her first visit to Nehru Place and I can tell already she is in love with this market ! There are about 10-15 fabric stores here & all of them have exclusive fabrics to cater !Mostly you can find all designers & exports coming to this market , as this is apt for them.

About my experience in this store-
This is the second time I visited this store , they have new range of fabrics and give a discount of 10% if you get your membership card. The store has a wide range of fabrics , its a multi storey store where on one floor you will find all satin & silk blends, on the other floor there is more cotton & woolen blends.

If you are looking for variety of prints and fabrics then I am sure you will love Tessuti !!

Nalli-fied experince !!

I went to Nalli a few days back , so thought of taking store pix and writing about them.
Nalli is one of my favorite store for traditional weaves, I visit the store quite frequently especially when need to update my tradional wear wardrobe.

Nalli has three stores in Delhi situated in CP, South Extn and Gk-II. I mostly visit their Gk-II store as its close by from where I stay and love their service :) Since this is a recent store in Gk-II so its mostly not crowded, so I get a fair chance to explore all options in the story.

 








Nalli is a multi storey store where they have sections divided on each floor. If you are a traditional weaves lover than this is a must visit store for you. Here you can find all sorts of silk blend running fabrics, sarees , suit pieces , ready-made suits and bags.

Nalli offers wide range of silk sarees that includes Banaras silk, Kanjivaram etc.

Now this is one of my favourite section , here you can find cut pcs at discounted price.

On the right side you can see there are some pics in different fabrics , I am very fond of this section because I anyways don't like picking the same fabrics for one suit , so from this section I can mix and match and make the best possible combinations :)

The man posing near the counter is my favorite SA , he totally understands what I am looking for :)

Nalli has all range of fabrics , so can fit in eveyone's budget.

Also they have branches in other cities.
