Nail Art Series 2

There is a phase in your life when you are obsessed with something & then you keep doing it , I think I am experiencing the "nail art" phase currently. Although I resist to buy more nail paints but then I can't resist myself from nail art , very soon I will share the collection of my nail paints with you guys. A close friend once did not let me buy any nail paint saying "Kannu you already have all shades of this particular color". I think such friends are like mirrors and they show you your true face, actually that was the day I tried controlling my urge to buy more nail paints and trust me so far I am succeeding !

I went to Golden Temple last week , had a early morning train can you guys believe I did nail art dedicated to Golden Temple at 2 am , yes should I not be in bed at that time ??? But NO for me nothing can be compared with the satisfaction I get when I do nail art :P

I know I have been a MIA for a while now ..... I have been thinking to do blog post since a long time but just got so occupied with work.... Also I am spending a lot of time on travelling in Delhi crazy traffic , so by the time I am back home all I see is my bed and want to relax ..Today in the morning I promised myself that I will do outfit post.
I created this look keeping in mind office formals and how to make them interesting.
Sometimes a little change in the usual color palette you have in your closet also makes a lot of difference !!
I have always loved emerald green but never really explored options available, so last when I went shopping this just love at first sight <3 <3

The weather is changing in Delhi , so I have wearing 3/4 or full sleeves mostly. Also another reason is Dengue , I work in healthcare sector and have heard of so many cases and as they say prevention is better than cure ...

Anyways lets not talk too much about Dengue , Navratras have started in full swing ...I have got another reason to do shopping :))

Tutorial : Step by step saran wrap manicure

These days I am obsessed with nail art , I keep trying new things. I have always loved water marble nail art but it's a very messy & difficult thing to do. I was looking for a alternate to water marble then came to know about saran wrap technique. I really love this technique and the effect , its simple and amazing !

So coming to the tutorial -
You would need , any nail paints of your choice and cling wrap (alternate could be the plastic bag you get from vegetable hawkers )
Top coat

I used these three nail paints to create the look-

Step 1-
Select your first shade, I have applied the white nail paint, let it dry completely.

Step2-

Apply both Fuschia and orange polish, don't let it dry.

Step 3-

Use cling wrap/soft plastic bag and dab it to create a random effect.

Step 4-

Let the polish dry and clean the sides with q-tips.

Steps 5-

Apply top coat and your manicure is done :)

Nail Art Series , Current Favorite

I am totally a nail paint girl , I can never have enough of nail paints :P. I just love buying/applying nail paints. There are two makeup products that I love buying one is nail paint and other is lipsticks , yes I love lipsticks too :) when it comes to lipsticks I pick mostly coral, pink and orange !!
Recently I have been obsessed with trying nail art, you might just laugh when I will tell you the reason ... My husband is out of town .. to keep mu mind diverted I keep doing nail art and shopping , I am almost broke now .. god .... still 15 days are left in this month how will I manage ?? Plus the sale season is so tempting ...uff I am a shopaholic !!
