>WHY DO GIRLS TAKE SO LONG IN DRESSING UP!

Mayank's reply-(they pretend that they are dressing up very properly, though

they may end up lukin messy....too much make up! Yuck! The cosmetic that boys find most weird is dark red lipstick.. & again the cosmetic that guys find most fascinating is lipstick but lush light transparentshades..)

My reply -Because they have features which can be further beautified.Unlike boys dull boring ones ! Girls dress up  to feel good about themselves !! the beauty of a girl lies within her  and the  dressing is just to make themselves feel good !! does not matter how long they take to dress up or to say yes !! an intelligent one will be smart enough to use right amount of time to look stunning and yes to confront her love to the right guy .... at the right time ...!!

 

 >HOWEVER SMALL THE PURSE OR HANDBAG OF A GIRL BE, IT WOULD CONTAIN INFINITE MATERIALS, WHICH ONE CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE.. FROM A SAFETY PIN TO AN UMBRELLA.. Hoops! :o

Mayank's reply-(they just go on dumping there bags with whatsoever comes in hand, be it toothpicks, safetypins, visitin cards..Or anything and when asked they would just pretend smart by replying we are prepared for each unforeseen situation)

My reply - u said it well , prepared for unseen situation , by the way most men come running & looking for help when they need somethings too !!

Mayank's reply-(grow up girls! But its so because they may skip the chance for displaying attitude.. Bhaav khane ka chance haath se nikal jayega.. :p)

My reply : World has changed , time to re-look  stats again , also only when if u have it can't you show it ? What will down market conservative men flaunt?

Mayank's reply-(grow up! Grow up! Why cant they find it “OBVIOUS” OTHER WAY ROUND TOO.. THEY WOULD PRETEND INNOCENT” YOU NEVER SAID SO…. Etc” )

My reply:  Mainly it is tradition, its the way things are done normally. But also the fear of rejection plays a part, guys are more freaked by girls making huge gestures of commitment than a girl will. there is more of a risk for the girl to ask, also we don't do it as it is the man's job and we do not want to make them feel inadequate and to take that away from them.

Mayank's reply-(even if strangers, girls may start with appreciating accessories, dresses andwould wind up getting personal & no surprise they would even end up gossiping about there boyfriends..!!

My reply:Because only large and clear hearts can connect well . So when one has gulit & bad  thoughts in mind you can't do that . So often you find pleasant girls pouring their heart out !

My reply : It takes time , hard work , years of practise & preservance to maintain good looks . Men can't understand that !! Also we believe in eating & staying healthy !!

 

February Haul !

I am a shopaholic and go crazy shopping during sale period, during this month I indulged into a lot of accessories shopping.... ok makeup too :P
So without doing much of talking I will share the pix of what I got....

Lets start with the party bags ..

 The moment I saw this bag online , I skipped a beat.. It was love at first sight .
Its a Vakaro hand- painted bag. I think I am going to use the bag a lot..It will go well with western/Indian attire.

My Pinkieee bag.. this bag got my attention when I was passing by a store , its has a nice pink crystal flag and the right amount of pink. I plan to team it up with a contrast outfit to make it pop out!


I was desperately looking for a routine wear bag then I found this....

Ok another pink accessory , this time a pink clip , I love the mix of pearls in it , so cute :)

I am loving golden these days and was looking for golden cuffs that's when I found these , the plain gold one is my current favorite . I am wearing it every now and then.

`I am a earrings person , so tried to get a mix of all colors :)

Hot pink and coral are my current favorite for lipsticks.. Got Faces hot pink lippy and Colorbar lippy Citrine (It looks red in the pic though)
Colorbar i glide pencil in Glowing Sapphire and Mac paint paint in Morning Frost.

The Sunday Lunch- Aloo Puri recipe

This Sunday afternoon I decided to prepare Aloo Puri for lunch , yes the typical Sunday lunch :)
I had been missing having it for a while and was in a cooking mood today , so Aloo Puri for lunch today.
Thought I will share the recipe with you guys  :)

Ingredients-
Potatoes-5 pealed and cut into medium cubes/pieces
Tomatoes-3
Ginger- little bit
Salt - as per taste
Jeera- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 2 tsp
Red Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala- 1 tsp
Dhania Powder- 1 tsp
Methra Dana- 1 tsp
Sabut Dhania- 1 tsp
Kali Mirch powder- 1tsp
Green chillies-2
Cooking oil/desi ghee- 1 1/2 tbsp
Water- 500 lts
Coriander- for garnishing

 Sliced potatoes

Tomatoes and ginger

Method-
Grind tomatoes , ginger and green chillies in a mixer.

In pressure cooker add 1 1/2 tbsp desi ghee/cooking oil , now add Jeera,Sabhut dhania and Methra Dana.Cook it for 1-2 mins when turns a golden brown add the puree in it .

Cook it for 5-7 mins , when the masala becomes think , now add salt, turmeric and red chilli powder.
Now add the potatoes , garam masala and black pepper powder. Mix it for a while.

Now add water and cover it with the lid and give 5-6 whistles.

When you open the lid , mash a few potatoes to make a thick gravy. Garnish with coriander.

So this is how the final meal look like , served it with methi puri, mint chutney, salad and mango pickle.

Chinese Noodles

Chinese Noodles

I love Chinese food and also love cooking it. Chinese Noodles is everyone’s favorite at homes, the twist that I add to it loads of vegetables and cook it without ajino-motto , a salt used in Chinese cooking which is apparently not good for the liver.

The recipe is very simple all you need is sliced vegetables.

Ingredients-

Cooking time- approx-15 mins

Serves- 4 

Carrots- approx 2 sliced into long pieces

Capsicum- approx 2 sliced into long pieces

Cabbage- approx ½  sliced into long pieces

Onion- 3 sliced into long pieces

Ginger and garlic-1 tbsp- optional(I did not use it while preparing the noodles)

Salt- as per taste

Black pepper- 1 1/2 tsp

Vinegar – 1 tbsp

Soya Sauce- 1 ½ tsp

Refined oil- 1 ½ tbsp

Noodles- a small packet from the vegetable seller / packet noodles approx 350 gms

Boil the noodles in hot water and add 1 tbsp salt and oil , drain the excess water in sieve and wash the noodles in cold water. This will ensure that the noodles don’t mingle.

In a pan take approx 1 ½ tbsp cooking oil and add carrots in it after approx 3-4 mins add the rest of the vegetables in it.

After a while when the vegetables look a little cooked , lets say after 5-7 mins add the noodles , salt , soya sauce and vinegar . Mix together and voila your noodles are ready.

You Are In Love.....

What is love? It is one of the most difficult questions for the mankind.Centuries have passed by, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of love. To some Love is friendship set on fire for others Maybe love is like luck. You have to go all the way to find it. No matter how you define it or feel it, love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind. 

Am I in Love ? This is a very simple and complex question because you at times it could be lust too ? So how do you know you have found your soul mate? May be below mentioned points would help you decide .....

1-  You keep thinking about that special person- The thoughts about that special person rule your mind. You want to think about him/her all the time... When you wake up in the morning the first thought is about that special person. Even in your dreams you see this person.

2-Love indicators-There are a lot of indicators that allows you to know when you are in love. Even just seeing her/him make you feel special, every single look is like the first time.. You feel on top of the world..

3- The magical touch-The touch is magical, even if you know them from long you still get  butterflies in your stomach.When they hug you, every wall that you have ever built from keeping them out breaks down.You just want to be with them.

4-Spending good time together- You feel happy to be with them , you wish to spend quality time together. No matter what you do , even walking together sounds good to you.
Also you miss them when they are not around and think about the good times you had together.

5-Unconditional love-Love is not about give and take or about the perfection in you. Its about being together and thinking about other person more than yourself... You are ready to change yourself for that special person..

6- Being happy all the time- When in love you day dream a lot and also you are positive and more happy. You feel nervous when he/she passes you. Basically you are dreaming a lot and happy about it :)

7- Different experience- It is a different experience for you, the feeling you never had before. When a touch can make a lot of difference, you think about future with this special person. She him/her as your hubby/wife.. think about a family.. kids.. You love them they way they are , you are ready to compromise for them ... Also their happiness means the world to you :)

8-You don't notice other men/women-When a hunk/hottie passes you .. and you don't notice it then you are in true love. You are always thinking about the special person and know that thats your ultimate man/lady.

9-You love yourself-All your self doubt and issues disappear with just one look and you are more clear.Being truly in love makes you love and respect yourself. You must love yourself before you can truly love someone else. 

10-You forget sorrow- When you face bad time and this special person is not around you miss them a lot and want to share everything with them. A glace at you make you forget all your sorrow and you feel positive :)
