Recipe: Carrot Kheer

To keep you immune system stronger one should eat seasonal vegetables and fruits. Winters season is full of variety of vegetables and fruit. Gajar halwa and Kheer is the famous sweet dish during this season. The best thing about these dishes are that even diabetic people can relish them with no guilt.So I am sharing the recipe of my favorite winter sweet dish Carrot Kheer today.

 Serves- 4
Ingredients-
Carrots- 2
Milk- Full cream , 1/2 L
Sugar- 4-5 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
Assorted nuts- little bit

Step by step recipe 

Peel and grate the carrots .

In a pan on high flame bring the milk to boil.

Add carrots in the boiled milk and on low flame cook for about 20-25 mins.

Once you are nearly done add cardamom powder and assorted nuts.

And your dish is ready , you can serve hot or cold as you like.

My experience with the product-

. The lipstick is soft, smooth and creamy, it glides on very easily.

Despite its matte finish, it feels moisturizing and softening on the lips .It is a very natural finish, neither too matte, nor too creamy.

Rose Quartz is pretty berry pink shade. It adds glow to the face.

Pros-

Soft and cremy texture , easy to apply.

Nice pigmentation

Reasonable.

Good staying power.

Would suit most Indian skin tones.

Easily available both online and offline

Attractive packaging.

Cons-

The mild fruity smell, but that goes off after a while.

Do I recommend this product?

Oh yes definitely, especially in winters when you want a instant glow on your face !Also this would suit most Indian skin tones.

They say you live your life your once ,then why not enjoy joy every moment of it ! If their is any phase of life that I want to relive then that would be childhood, those were the best days of my life !! I never had to worry  about anything , mom took care of everything :) Taking swings was the best childhood memory , I still remember waiting for the clock to tick 5pm and I go out meet my buddies and take swings. Till today when I  see swings I look around and grab a chance to relive my old days.Today I met a old friend and we met for lunch , grabbed chole bhature , the ideal punjabi punch if you ask me ...heheheheee.... Their are certain dishes which I can have at any hour , one of them is this !

Post lunch we decided to take a walk at the park and when I saw the swings I just could not resist !!

I generally love teaming my dresses my dresses with blazers and stockings in winters. I think this is the best way to utilize the dresses in winters ! In a city like Delhi we experience extreme climates...It going to get very cold here in Delhi soon , so before that happens I grabbed the opportunity to wear my dress with blazer.
Also its the first time I did complete smoky eyes , I think its the makeup that inspired me to wear this dress.

Recent Makeup Haul

November has been a good month for me , series of events happen in this month including my parents birthdays and our anniversary. We celebrated our 4th anniversary last week and realized we have come a long way together....I still recall the days when I met hubz at Japanese class .....Now don't ask me about my Japanese language skills , I have totally forgotten everything.

I am shopping freak , I can even shop in dreams. I consider online shopping as one of the greatest blessing. I am always tempted to shop online because they come up with such exciting deals with just can't be missed.
I have heard a lot about Myntra.com and this is my first shopping experience with it.
A woman can never have enough of cosmetics in her vanity , their is always a urge to get more and more.
Ok let me justify I had a reason to shop I had to get these goodies ... , they just can't be missed !

So I decided to get a lipstick , blush and eye tattoo from the beauty section.

The packing of the products was intact.

I was impressed to see individual product box packaging

Individual product was bubble wrapped , wow they made sure that I get the product in perfect condition.

I placed my order on 27th Nov 2012 around 3 pm and got my package on 29th Nov 2012 morning at 9 am. I am impressed with their customer services. I kept getting updated status mails from them about the products.

Yesterday I met my school friend after ages and the best thing was that I just not met her I met her son too J It feels so good to see the new addition in her life , I was recalling our school days while she pampered her son , is she the same girl who sat next to me and was the cutest kid in the class, the shy girl …. Wow she is a mommy now !! Time really flies … aaawwww..life changes with the blink of eyes …

I met her yesterday after a very long time , more than 3 years , we had so much to share with each other .Even though we talk regularly on phone but then there is so much of girls gossip that had to be done… this was just the perfect moment, the two of us , cute sleeping baby and our gossips J J

Hello everyone , I am back with another outfit post , first of all apologies  for not posting for a long time , I was so busy with Diwali then later my laptop crashed :( but now im back in action...
I am a little late in doing this post , but then this is what I wore for Bhaidhooj :)
I kept my look simple for the day time.

I was feeling a little low few days back.. but now I am just now very positive but super happy too , just got a call from one of my new client saying she loved the outfits I did for her , YAY !! I am supper happy :))
Sometimes you just need a reason to get back to life and I guess I have a lot of them now :)

Also I tried making Green Thai curry last weekend and I must tell you , it turned awesome , hubby dearest demands for more Thai Curry :)

Now that the winters are approaching I will be taking out my winter wear soon , ggggrrrr its so cold in Delhi now...
