Recent Makeup Haul

November has been a good month for me , series of events happen in this month including my parents birthdays and our anniversary. We celebrated our 4th anniversary last week and realized we have come a long way together....I still recall the days when I met hubz at Japanese class .....Now don't ask me about my Japanese language skills , I have totally forgotten everything.

Just when I felt that I want to do some makeup shopping Myntra.com gave me a voucher to shop from  their beauty section. God I should have asked for something more. Hope I am not sounding greedy.

Lately I have started liking fall colors and wanted to get a makeup dose of it , also wanted to try Biotique cosmetics line so ended up picking a oxblood lipstick and nailpaint.

Online shopping experience : Myntra.com

I am shopping freak , I can even shop in dreams. I consider online shopping as one of the greatest blessing. I am always tempted to shop online because they come up with such exciting deals with just can't be missed.
I have heard a lot about Myntra.com and this is my first shopping experience with it.
A woman can never have enough of cosmetics in her vanity , their is always a urge to get more and more.
Ok let me justify I had a reason to shop I had to get these goodies ... , they just can't be missed !

So I decided to get a lipstick , blush and eye tattoo from the beauty section.

So coming to the website review -

The packing of the products was intact.

I was impressed to see individual product box packaging

Individual product was bubble wrapped , wow they made sure that I get the product in perfect condition.

I placed my order on 27th Nov 2012 around 3 pm and got my package on 29th Nov 2012 morning at 9 am. I am impressed with their customer services. I kept getting updated status mails from them about the products.

My review on the website-

Customer services- 10/10
Product condition- 10/10 
Range of products- 7/10 ( should include more brands and products in beauty section)
Delivery- 10/10 (they delivered on the committed date )

Would I recommend others to shop from Myntra.com ?
Yes ofcourse , its a hasle free website , they deliver on time & in good condition. Also they have 30 days exchange policy and they do free shipping !!

Yesterday I met my school friend after ages and the best thing was that I just not met her I met her son too J It feels so good to see the new addition in her life , I was recalling our school days while she pampered her son , is she the same girl who sat next to me and was the cutest kid in the class, the shy girl …. Wow she is a mommy now !! Time really flies … aaawwww..life changes with the blink of eyes …

I met her yesterday after a very long time , more than 3 years , we had so much to share with each other .Even though we talk regularly on phone but then there is so much of girls gossip that had to be done… this was just the perfect moment, the two of us , cute sleeping baby and our gossips J J

Hello everyone , I am back with another outfit post , first of all apologies  for not posting for a long time , I was so busy with Diwali then later my laptop crashed :( but now im back in action...
I am a little late in doing this post , but then this is what I wore for Bhaidhooj :)
I kept my look simple for the day time.

I was feeling a little low few days back.. but now I am just now very positive but super happy too , just got a call from one of my new client saying she loved the outfits I did for her , YAY !! I am supper happy :))
Sometimes you just need a reason to get back to life and I guess I have a lot of them now :)

Also I tried making Green Thai curry last weekend and I must tell you , it turned awesome , hubby dearest demands for more Thai Curry :)

Now that the winters are approaching I will be taking out my winter wear soon , ggggrrrr its so cold in Delhi now...

Chit Chat with Kryolan Senior Makeup artist Ms Samantha

Last weekend when I was out with my friend in Lajpat nagae we decided to visit Kryolan City store and voila I was lucky I got a chance to meet their Senior Makeup artist from Italy Ms Samantha :)
She is here in India for a while conducting makeup workshop. I got the chance to have a chit chat session with her and I asked her a few beauty related queries ...

Kryolan says that makeup is a science and they study the client

1- What are the basic makeup products that a woman should have in her bag?

Samantha says in India people apply a lot of kohl so that's a must apart from a nice everyday lipstick,mascara and a blush.

2- Can you suggest everyday makeup look which can be done in 10 mins ?

Samantha say , Put a foundation, neutral eye shadow , kohl, macara ,blush and a lip gloss.

3- What are the essential beauty products that you suggest ?

Samantha Says, Underbase, foundation,eye shadows in metallics , lipstick, lip gloss , blush, kajal and mascara.

4-What lipsticks do you suggest ?

5- How to make the makeup last longer ?

Samantha says , use a underbase , its a wonderful product and protects the skin too.

Its priced for about 1000 , highly recommended !!

6- What foundation do you suggest for long stay ?

Samantha says, Kryolan Micro foundation smoothing fluid , its silicon based and does not even make the skin feel heavy.

When I visited the store Samantha was giving makeup session to the team about how to make small eyes look big .
