Its rare that I wear saree , honestly I don't know how to drape it :( . I think I need to learn soon how to drape it , every time can't be relying on parlors, friends and family for that ...I had to attend a wedding yesterday , I decided to wear a saree .. Thanks to BFF Daman , she drapes saree really well, without her being their it would have been impossible to get dressed at 9pm when there is no other option left !

 

 

 

This is hoe designed the back of my blouse , after all the grace of the saree depends a lot on the blouse.

Maybelline Eye Tattoo

Finally the wait is over , Maybelline has launched the range of eye tattoo in India. I have been desperately waiting for them to launch this product in India.These are similar to Mac paint-pots but way cheaper !
The price of the product is Rs. 350 , I think its a steal at this price.Maybelline sure knows how to get smiles on the face for their target audience where every now and then you keep hearing about hiked petrol,diesel and cylinder prices.

What I liked it that it comes with a brush , which is quite useful.

Outfit :Chantilly dress in retro style

I have a inclination for vintage wear , especially chantilly .... I thinks its looks very classy & elegant. The moment I see chantilly I go back to the golden era where ladies were dressed in gowns and lovely dresses ... The best thing about chantilly is that its complete in itself , just accessorize well and you are ready to go !

I had to attend a mehandi function on Sunday , Punjabi functions means full on rock & roll and drinks !!

Yes the essential part of punjabi wedings is drinks !! Mehandi is a very casual function where close friends and family members are seen  in attendence.I wanted to do a casual and fun look so decided to wear my chantilly dress with tights.

I like it when hubby dearest gives his opinion about my outfit and look , it was his suggestion to opt for a red lipstick with this look :)

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

Wishing everyone a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi.Those of you who don't know about this I will brief you a bit. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on the occassion of birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva & Parvati.Ganesha is widely worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune and traditionally invoked at the beginning of any new venture or at the start of travel.

I have made new set of friends from Mumbai , where this festival is celebrated in full swing, so I also decided to do celebration  at home as i got inspired by my bunch of girl friends.

Aloo puri, Besan Ladoo & Tomato Chutney were part of my prasad.
It took me about 2 hours to prepare it....

I can pour my heart out to my BFFs , they are always there for me !
At times social networking is good , that's how I met Purvi . ,y new BFF..
My day starts with a good morning message to her and then sharing all the gossip with her , its like a routine !
I can't imagine a day without her in my life !!

Purvi is a darling and she exactly knows how to pamper me , what better can I ask for then her being with me whenever I need her !
She is an angel , a gem of a person with a pure heart ! I feel so lucky to have her in my life #thanks twitter !!

Maybelline Jewel Pink Tourmaline Lipstick review

I am a Punjabi girl , bling is my middle name ! hahahhahaa... Ever since I heard about the new range of jewel lipsticks by Maybelline I wanted to try them and heard /read a lot about it on other fashion/makeup blogs.

Tbellhough I am not a frosted lipstick lover but still I gave it a shot !

Maybelline surely knows how to capture the attention of targr et audience , that's why they named this collection as Jewels ! A woman is always facinated towards jewels !

Pros-

1- Attractive packaging.

2-Affordable.

3- Highly pigmented, one swipe is enough.

4- Good coverage , can stay up till 5-6 hrs.

5- These glitter does not bother, infact enhance the look.

Cons-

1- Little fruity smell, but it goes off after a while.

2- May not suit all skin tones, apt for fair skin tones.

Jewellery has always been the latest obsession for women , ok now they love their makeup too ! But still jewellery holds a lot of importance. Like any other girl around I am also a jewellery lover.. cuffs,bangles and bracelets are some of my favorite jewellery pcs . This is set of bangles I got from Leh, these are traditional bangles and have sybols engraved on it . This was something that I had never seen before.I still remember I was after hubby dearest to get me these ! hehehheee

Today's Look- Floral tights and grey tunic

It has been raining on and off in Delhi , the weather is very pleasant here ...Today when I got up it was raining. I love to see rain when I wake up in the morning , it kinda gives me a energy kick ! hehehee , sounds funny na ... I have always had a love & hate relationship with rains. I love it when I get a chance to enjoy it sitting at home with thn family and hate it when I have to drive in the crazy traffic , Delhi traffic gets worse during monsoon...and driving gets even more difficult ! phew.... that's about my thoughts ... everyone has a different perception about it.

Today was a relaxed day so I decided to get into my comfort zone and wear tights.

Ok I did not eat that green chilly ! hehehehe...
